Multi-instrumentalist Jake Simpson has been performing in the DC area for the last 14 years. In addition to his solo shows, most recently he has been playing guitar and bass in two local bands (Cole Larravide and Who Woulda Funk?). He has played at DMV venues such as DC9, Public Option, Jammin' Java, The Pocket, and the Corcoran Museum, as well as farther-flung shows including Baltimore Soundstage and Rockwood Music Hall in NYC!

In his solo shows, Jake presents an eclectic mix of songs in his own style - everything from jazz, blues, and classic rock to pop hits and songs from musicals. Through being classically trained, studying trad jazz in New Orleans, playing in rock bands, and now teaching six different instruments and countless genres at GIGS, Jake has built a setlist of both covers and originals guaranteed to have something for everyone!

This event is FREE and open to all ages!

A limited amount of pizza from Frankly...Pizza! will be available for sale by the slice. Make sure you get there early to grab yours!

Beer, wine, and liquor will be available for purchase at the bar inside the venue. Anyone over the age of 21 must bring ID in order to purchase alcohol.

Water, soft drinks, and snacks will also be for sale at the bar.

Hook & Ring toss, Cornhole, Connect Four, and coloring tables will be available for families to enjoy!
